#Original beavis butthead episodes full#
Since it is a TV show that existed before any of them were in widescreen, the Mike Judge collection is presented in full screen, as it was originally intended. The only exception to the video problems comes on the third disc, which contains some later-era B&B materials. The colors have a tendency to look muddy and washed-out, and artifacting occurs throughout. Although the theme eps like "Leave it to Beavis" are reaching a little, there is greatness in "Bride of Butt-Head" and the amazing "Beavis and Butt-Head Are Dead." Score: 9 out of 10 The Video As with Volumes 1 and 2, there is grain and smudging in the original animation. The second disc contains some classic episodes, indeed. In "Sprout," when they cannot get their seeds to grow for a class assignment, they accuse them of having "bad attitudes." Their fantasy of the ultimate teacher in "PTA," a grown-up and slightly more dysfunctional version of themselves, is awesome. Originally, the intention was to list our favorite episodes from those included, but they all have their moments (sounds like an infomercial, huh?). Disc One contains the following cartoons:Īll of the hand-picked episodes are amazing, and even after all this time, Beavis and Butt-Head's antics are hilarious. The third one is now available, so if you're a B&B fan and you haven't gone out and purchased it yet, get to the store, fart knocker.Īs with the previous compilations, the first two discs contain 20 cartoons apiece and the third contains the special features and a new fistful of music videos, complete with standard B&B commentary. The first two volumes of Beavis and Butt-Head: The Mike Judge Collection were excellent compilations of episodes and extras from one of MTV's longest-running and most successful series.
